A New Voice for the 65th District
Friends, neighbors, and fellow residents—I’m running to be your next State Representative because our community deserves leadership that fights for all of us, not just the privileged few.
For too long, our representation in Springfield has ignored the real struggles of working families, seniors, and small businesses across our district. The truth is simple: Dan Ugaste works for the radical right, for special interests, and for himself—but he doesn’t work for you. We deserve a representative who actually listens, who shows up in our communities, and who puts people ahead of political games.
This campaign is about more than replacing one politician. It’s about fighting for the single parent lying awake wondering how to pay for both rent and groceries. It’s about standing with the teacher digging into their own paycheck for classroom supplies. It’s about giving hope to the young couple questioning whether they can build a future in Illinois. And it’s about honoring those who’ve succeeded but understand that real progress means lifting up everyone around them. These aren’t political talking points—they’re the lived experiences of our neighbors, and they demand a champion who will fight for them every day.
I believe in a different kind of leadership—one built on integrity, fairness, and the conviction that every voice in our community matters. But this change can’t happen alone. It will take all of us working together to create a 65th District where working families finally come before corporate profits, where healthcare is affordable and accessible to all, where our public schools get the resources they need to succeed, where small businesses have genuine opportunities to grow, and where every community is safe, welcoming, and full of potential.
This is our moment to stop accepting things as they are and start fighting for what they should be. When we stand together—when we organize, when we demand better, when we refuse to settle—there’s no limit to what we can achieve.
If you’re able, I ask you to donate today to help build this movement. The road ahead won’t be easy, but it’s time to get to work.
